About the Dube TradePort Bursary 2027
The Dube TradePort Bursary Scheme provides an opportunity for eligible KwaZulu-Natal students pursuing tertiary qualifications in selected fields of study.
The bursary is specifically available to students enrolled at the approved universities listed below. Students attending private institutions are not eligible.

Please note: Private higher education institutions are excluded.
Dube TradePort Bursary Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be a South African citizen
- Be a resident of KwaZulu-Natal
- Ideally be between 18 and 34 years old
- Be pursuing a qualification in one of the approved fields of study
- Be studying at one of the specified institutions
- Not qualify for NSFAS
- Be able to provide proof of household income

Who Does Not Qualify?
This bursary opportunity specifically states that applicants must not qualify for NSFAS.
Students studying at private institutions are also excluded, as funding is limited to students enrolled at DUT, MUT, UKZN or UniZulu.
